AddonsHub Terms of Service

§1 Definitions

The terms used in these Terms of Service mean:

Operator / AddonsHub

Service

The AddonsHub online platform — an independent directory of PrestaShop modules, experts and agencies, operating at addonshub.eu.

User

Any natural person, legal entity or organizational unit using the Service, including non-logged-in visitors.

Creator (Vendor)

A User holding an account with the Vendor role, authorized to publish modules in the Service.

Expert

A User holding an account with the Expert role, presenting their services in the expert directory.

Module

A plugin / extension for the PrestaShop system published in the Service by a Creator.

Account

An individual User account registered in the Service, identified by an e-mail address.

§2 Scope of Services

1. AddonsHub is an independent directory of PrestaShop modules and experts — it is not an online store or a sales intermediary.
2. The Operator provides free of charge:
   • browsing the module and expert directory,
   • registration and management of a User account,
   • publication of a Creator profile and modules (for Vendor accounts),
   • presentation of an expert profile (for Expert accounts),
   • access to API v1 for Creators.
3. The purchase of a module takes place exclusively between the User and the Creator, outside the Service — via an external link provided by the Creator. The Operator is not a party to this transaction and is not responsible for its execution.
4. The Operator reserves the right to introduce paid plans (e.g. Starter, Pro, Agency) for Creators. Users will be informed of the introduction of such plans with 30 days' notice.

§3 Registration and Account

1. Registration requires providing an active e-mail address, first name / company name and password.
2. The User is obliged to provide accurate information. The Operator may request verification of identity or company details.
3. One account may hold the Vendor and Expert roles simultaneously.
4. The User bears full responsibility for password security and actions taken from their account.
5. An account may be deleted by the User at any time. The Operator deletes data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
6. The Operator may suspend or delete an account that violates these Terms, after prior notification of the User (unless this poses a risk to the security of the Service).
7. Logging into the Service is two-step — after entering the password, the User receives a one-time code to their e-mail address.

§4 Rules for Module Creators

1. The Creator declares that they hold full rights to the published module or hold the appropriate licenses.
2. The module must be compatible with at least one version of PrestaShop specified in the description.
3. It is prohibited to publish modules that:
   • contain malicious code (malware, backdoor, viruses),
   • infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties,
   • mislead Users regarding functionality or price,
   • are in breach of applicable law (in particular Polish and EU law),
   • are intended solely for spamming, scraping or DDoS attacks.
4. The Creator is responsible for keeping module information up to date, including compatibility and price.
5. The purchase link must lead directly to the module page or shopping cart — it may not be an affiliate link to a general homepage.
6. The changelog should be updated with each new version of the module.
7. The Creator may not include promotional content for third parties or links to competing platforms in the descriptions.

§5 Moderation

1. Every module undergoes verification by the Operator before publication. The audit period is up to 48 hours on business days.
2. During verification the Operator may:
   • approve the module — status: published,
   • reject the module with a stated reason — status: rejected,
   • ask the Creator to provide additional information.
3. A rejected module may be corrected by the Creator and resubmitted for moderation.
4. The Operator reserves the right to revoke publication of a module that, after being published, violated these Terms.
5. Moderation decisions may be challenged by e-mail at kontakt@addonshub.eu.

§6 Payments and Commissions

1. The basic features of the Service are free of charge — the Operator does not collect commissions on transactions between the Creator and the User.
2. The module price displayed in the Service is for informational purposes and is provided by the Creator. The Operator does not verify the accuracy of prices.
3. All complaints and refunds relating to a module purchase should be directed directly to the Creator.

§7 Copyright and Intellectual Property

1. All materials published in the Service by the Operator (graphics, texts, code, layout) are protected by copyright and are the property of the Operator or its licensors.
2. By publishing a module in the Service, the Creator grants the Operator a non-exclusive, perpetual and royalty-free licence to display the module's name, description, screenshots and logo for promotional purposes within the Service.
3. The User may not copy, reproduce or distribute the content of the Service without the written consent of the Operator.
4. The names PrestaShop®, PHP®, MySQL® and other trademarks belong to their respective owners. AddonsHub is not an official partner of PrestaShop SA.

§8 Liability

1. The Operator is not liable for:
   • the content, quality, security or functionality of modules published by Creators,
   • the consequences of using modules on Users' stores,
   • unavailability of the Service caused by technical failures, maintenance work or force majeure,
   • transactions concluded outside the Service between Users and Creators.
2. The Service is provided "as is" — the Operator does not guarantee continuous operation or the absence of errors.
3. The Operator's liability for damages caused to Users is limited to cases arising from the Operator's intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

§9 Complaints and Disputes

1. Complaints regarding the functioning of the Service should be submitted by e-mail to: kontakt@addonshub.eu.
2. The Operator processes complaints within 14 business days of receipt.
3. Consumers have the right to use out-of-court dispute resolution (ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
4. Any disputes shall be resolved by the court having jurisdiction over the Operator's registered seat, unless the law provides otherwise.

§10 Final Provisions

1. These Terms of Service enter into force on 18 May 2025.
2. The Operator reserves the right to amend the Terms. Users will be informed of changes with 14 days' notice by e-mail or via a notice in the Service.
3. Continued use of the Service after the new Terms enter into force constitutes acceptance thereof.
4. Matters not regulated by these Terms are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code, the Act on the provision of electronic services, and the GDPR.
5. The invalidity of any provision of these Terms does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
